CHAS is a Contractors Health and Safety Scheme developed by local authority health and safety and procurement professionals with the support of the HSE.

The CHAS assessment is a rigorous process and accreditation demonstrates that the company has met all the requirements regarding health and safety, designer competence and compliance to CDM 2007.
