Second Pizza Express commission
This latest restaurant, situated at Piccadilly Gardens in Manchester, forms part of a rolling programme of new restaurants. We were appointed as Implementation Architect, Project Manager and Designer for the fit-out of this new restaurant which faces Piccadilly Gardens. The interior has a modern theme with graphics reflecting the Gardens before they were restructured.
This approach of taking inspiration from local surroundings exemplifies the overall design philosophy of the programme which aims to differentiate the restaurants by giving them a sophisticated touch of individuality. Our first project for PizzaExpress was located in a grade II listed railway building in Ilkley and the interior recalls the building’s heritage, retaining some original features and using railway themed artwork.
