The Roses Design Awards celebrates and rewards the achievements of the architecture and design industry over the past year. The Gala Dinner was held on Thursday 16th October at the Hilton in Deansgate, Manchester and the Jefferson Sheard rebrand was hailed as one of the main winners!
Jefferson Sheard, with their upcoming 50th Anniversary decided it was time to modernise and enhance their company image. On judging the various proposals it was decided to appoint Peter & Paul to refresh and rebrand the company image.
Their first initiative was to design a new logo - inspired by Galt Toys locking shapes and architectural plans their motivation was to make a 3-D logo. Peter & Paul designed three models of the logo using aluminum, wood and Perspex.
Next the new identity and model photography were rigorously applied to all of JSA's printed and digital internal and external communications and also on the redesigned website.
After the rebrand exercise Peter & Paul helped with the identity launch. Invites, exhibition banners and guest gifts were all designed in keeping with the new branding. The launch event was attended by over 200 industry practitioners and clients, staff and press to celebrate JSA's 50th, the opening of their new office and new brand identity.
