New Receptionist Required

 

 

We are currently seeking a receptionist to join the Jefferson Sheard team in our Sheffield Office on a full-time basis.

Purpose of the Role: To provide receptionist support to staff, clients and visitors and to conduct all activities in a professional and friendly manner, respecting client confidentiality at all times.

The applicant must be capable of using Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of Sage Line 50 is desirable but not essential.

Duties will include:

  • Ensuring the reception area and waiting rooms are clean and tidy at all times
  • Turning answer phone on/off when necessary
  • Answering the phone promptly and dealing courteously when making appointments and dealing with queries
  • Opening and distributing incoming post and packaging outgoing post and taking it to the post box
  • To meet and greet external visitors
  • To maintain the diaries of Directors
  • To assist with data input into Sage Line 50
  • To type and check sales invoices and enter into Sage
  • Assist with debtor collections
  • To assist with typing and other tasks as requested by the Practice Manager
  • To allocate Purchase Order Numbers
  • To enter staff timesheets into Sage

This list is not exhaustive and you may be required to carry out other job functions which the Company believes are within your capability. 

Working hours: 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch.

Salary: £12,000 - £14,000 depending on experience.

Start date: ASAP
