Requirement:
The University of Sheffield commissioned Jefferson Sheard to design a new extension to it's School of Dentistry.
Our solution:

To build a new four-storey extension that links with the existing school and hospital buildings and provides both partners with extra space for new facilities.
The University is linked with the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital and the project involved working closely with both parties.
The joint collaboration between the University and the neighbouring Dental Hospital received funding for the new extension from the Science Research Investment Fund and the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Professor Peter Robinson, who led the project, said: "We are delighted with the result. The building incorporates over 660m2 of new research laboratories and offices for research staff and postgraduate students”.
