Requirement:

East Thames Group wanted a fifteen unit mixed-tenure scheme which would become its ‘flagship' for sustainable development, provoke and promote discussion within the Group and set an environmental benchmark for future projects.

Our solution

• By paying special attention to siting, landscaping, materials and the passive and active use of solar energy we have designed a scheme which achieves an EcoHomes Excellent' rating.
• As well as being a model of environmental excellence, Earlham Grove is the result of an exemplary approach to the problems of a previously developed urban site - demolition and party wall issues; archaeology; planning and construction constraints, all carried out in full liaison and consultation with neighbours, stakeholders and statutory and advisory bodies.
