Requirement:
Our client wanted us to develop a programme of interior design that in could be rolled-out across the country and in some cases, fast-tracked to key stores. The scheme included over 25 built stores ranging from a sales floor of 325m2 to 800m2, in a variety of non-purpose built units, from inner city, to local high streets and retail parks.
Our solution:
- The store/layouts identify the ‘tills' as a focus for both the entrance and the exit. A defined pattern of routes direct the customer through the stores to the ‘point of sale'.
- The aisles and the store layouts are designed to allow for the showcasing of key produce, directing shoppers towards striking floor to ceiling displays.
- Design features, colours, signage and ‘design tools' ensure that the Simply Food brand is clearly translated into each scheme, even though every unique scheme required individual responses and in many cases created specific challenges.
