Requirement:
Time was of the essence to rebuild CW Field's joinery plant following a fire. With limited budget and no time to spare, we were briefed to create a space to accommodate specialist joinery services, offices and visitor space.
Our solution:
- This was a case of function dictating form and the result is a building which really ‘works' - designed according to the processes it needed to accommodate, this is a space absolutely fit for purpose.
- We worked closely with the client who did all the joinery and interior fit out for their own building, so it works like a living example of their work.
- The building combines ground floor office space, visitor reception and meeting space, external works and brand new build and machine shop, all designed to support a smooth work process.
- It was all designed and completed within five months of commission.
