Requirement:

Jefferson Sheard required new offices for our Headquarters based in Sheffield, and were appointed by CFK Developments to design the first purpose built office complex in the Cultural Industries Quarter.

Our solution:

  • The Cultural Industries Quarter is an established commercial area, but most make use of converted factory buildings. This was an opportunity to produce an important new piece of architecture for the area.
  • The first two storeys provide our new office space, including reception and meeting space, bathed in light thanks to floor to ceiling windows and providing a great façade onto Brown St.
  • Centrally located in the city, this was also a chance to create a special city living experience, providing a little ‘something different’ from other City Centre developments.
  • The interior spec is high – natural bamboo flooring, floor to ceiling glazing and high quality fixtures and fittings give Fulcrum an edge against the massive residential blocks popping up across the city. So much so, that all apartments sold well before completion.
